Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin will instruct Roscosmos and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation to develop a special training program for the Vostochny cosmodrome.
“I will instruct the ministry and Roscosmos to work on the specialization. Because the new facilities that are being built will include appropriate specialties and training programs,” Mishustin said at a meeting with students at the Moscow Aviation Institute.
Roscosmos General Director Dmitry Rogozin intends to organize emergency training for workers and scientists specifically for working in space: “Imagine when some kind of emergency situation could break out.
And we must urgently send some specialist, biologist, astronomer, physicist, welder. And in order for him to cope with his task there, he must be promptly prepared. This will be a real experiment.”
Russian President Vladimir Putin said at a meeting on the development of the space industry that the space industry is of particular importance for digital transformation and expanding opportunities for environmental monitoring.
