Some facts about the devices and methods for studying Venus
Between 1961 and 1984, the Soviet Union sent 16 exploration missions to Venus. NASA’s Parker Solar Probe made several flybys of Venus, utilizing the planet’s gravity assist. The DAVINCI mission, consisting of a flyby spacecraft and a lander, is scheduled to launch in the early 2030s. Using solid oxide electrolysis, EVE enables the exploration of Venus using balloons of unlimited duration. The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer (Juice) spacecraft was on a trajectory to perform a gravity assist pass by Venus on August 31, 2025. The Japanese space agency reported losing contact with its intrepid Akatsuki spacecraft, designed to explore Venus, in May 2024.
The Heliosphere – a new object for study
Scientists call the region of space that the Sun influences the heliosphere, but without an interstellar probe, they know little about its shape. The heliosphere, the region of space that the Sun influences, is more than a hundred times the distance from the Sun to Earth.
Solar hype from space agencies and increased solar activity. Coincidence?
The aurora ceases to remain polar. Now it can be observed with the naked eye all over the world. Until 2022, tourists from all over the world rushed to see the clear lights in the northern regions. In the last year, the red glow can be seen… everywhere. Not always, of course, but very often. Auroras are dangerous for people with unstable psyches.
A special NASA mission is testing to change the orbit of an asteroid
On the morning of October 24, 2021, a Falcon 9 launch vehicle with the DRAT space probe launched from a military spaceport in California, which will crash into an asteroid to test technology for protecting the Earth from collisions with space objects.
